Dr. O’s primary mental health proficiency includes; Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Bipolar, ADHD, Schizophrenia, Eating Disorder, OCD, DMDD, ODD, and treatment for Substance Use Disorder.
Dr. O’ employs a client-centered care approach in managing patients with mental illness. She maintains the creativity, flexibility, and awareness necessary to best meet the mental needs of a unique spectrum of individuals and families.
Mel Riner, CSAC, MS in Clinical Psychology, Doctoral Degree Candidate
Mel Riner has a background in mental health counseling with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and a Doctorate in the works. Mel focuses on treating dysregulated behaviors ranging from substance use disorders and eating disorders to impulsive and self-destructive behaviors.
Mel also specializes in dysregulated behaviors co-occurring with PTSD, anxiety, and depression.
Having been a military spouse for 20-plus years, Mel boasts firsthand experience on the impact of military-style transient lifestyles and their toll on mental health resilience.
Mel employs a combination of research-backed therapy techniques focused on mindfulness practices to stimulate and help her clients meet their personal treatment goals.
