Licensed Mental Health Counselors

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform assessments and evaluations to determine the mental health status of clients and to establish the most effective treatment approaches.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to patients in acute distress.
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and coping strategies.

Mental Health Physician Assistant
Hava Oaks Medical is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Mental Health Physician Assistant (PA) to provide exceptional care to our patients. In this role, you will work closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to diagnose, treat, and manage various psychiatric conditions. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about mental health, has strong clinical skills, and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, including comprehensive assessments of mental health status, medical history, and treatment goals.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising psychiatrists.
- Prescribe and manage medications under the supervision of a licensed psychiatrist, ensuring appropriate dosages and monitoring for side effects.
- Provide psychotherapy, counseling, and patient education as part of the treatment process.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Offer crisis intervention services and support for patients experiencing acute psychiatric symptoms.
- Stay current with developments in psychiatric medicine and attend continuing education as required.
